I’ve been working on my blog more and more these days, and I had to take a second to reflect on the progress I’m making. As much as you know that you have to be the one promoting your work, it’s still no easy feat to actually put yourself out there and ask people to read your work.

I did just that recently, and what do you know! I had a bunch of people actually turn up haha.

Below is a couple maps from my website stats, which goes to show a little breakdown of where people are viewing my work from. How crazy to think that I’ve got viewers from all around the world.

First of all: hello to all my international readers! It’s so cool to connect with people from all different walks of life, and from all sorts of places.

I wanted to record this for myself to show my starting point. As I work on my various projects, and hopefully find my own way a little more, I’d like to be able to look back on this and see where I started, and how I was going.

The views aren’t massive, but I’m kind of glad for that too. I’m still finding my feet in so many ways, and I can’t even tell you what this blog is about yet. It’s just my thing where I get to write and practise and experiment.

Nonetheless it’s exciting, and this is proof that I can reach people globally—even on a super small scale. You have to celebrate the small wins, you know!

Anyway, we’ll see what happens over the next few days/weeks/months as I continue to work on this. Who knows where my next readers will come from…
